The Manu o Kū (bird of Kū), also known as a fairy or white tern, is the official bird of Honolulu. This was inspired by a National Forestry Service video. You can watch the whole video here.

This work was exhibited in the Capital Modern, the Hawai’i State Art Museum, as part of an exhibit by Hui Manu-o-Kū celebrating this beautiful and unique bird.
